Sarah Bauer Jackson is a Minneapolis-based nonprofit professional with more than a decade of unique experience. From planning large conventions, creating web and print content, managing social media platforms, and providing technical assistance to nonprofits, Jackson has wide-ranging experience. She is a former executive director of the Minnesota News Council (2006-2010) and program director for the Minnesota Newspaper Association (2010-2017). Currently, Jackson is a Loan Officer/Financial Specialist for Propel Nonprofits, the new name for Nonprofits Assistance Fund/MAP for Nonprofits, based in Minneapolis.

Jackson is a past president of the Society of Professional Journalists Minnesota Pro Chapter and University of Minnesota student chapter. She was co-chair of the Leaders of Today and Tomorrow (LOTT) board of directors that oversees a women's leadership program for emerging professionals. Jackson is also a mentor for LOTT and New Sector Alliance fellows.

When she's not traveling for work or for fun, you can find her training for an upcoming race, reading, cooking recipes from her favorite cookbooks or helping her husband home-brew in the backyard.
